Lauren's most recent works strive to capture the spirit of the southwest, in both color text, light and movement. In each piece she combines unlikely treasures, such as glass, copper, tiles, marbles, beads, dishes, stones, both semi precious and not so precious, to create a piece that is constantly in motion depending on how the light hits it.
