Carlos A. Lopez, a native of Los Angeles, studied at the Art Center of Los Angeles and Choninard Art Institute under the instructors Hans Burkhart, William Moore, and Harold Kramer. His roots are in design, illustration and fine arts. Carlos' paintings are gracing the corporate officers and homes of many discerning collectors. Twelve of his paintings were on exhibition in the Exploring the Planets Gallery of the National Air and Space Museum at the Smithsonian Institution in Washington. Upon retiring as Corporate Art Director of Hughes Aircraft Company in Los Angeles, Carlos now resides in San CLemente, California and Scottsdale, Arizona.
The voice and sustenance of Lopez's work is conveyed through the tenderness and emotion each painting expresses. His previous work in design, illustration and fine arts, have contributed to his unique and diversified painting style.
